गुजरात के गोंडल में मुफ़्त टिफिन सेवा चलाने वाले 70 साल के चंदू बापू ने 20 साल पहले अपने बेटे को खोने के बाद एक संकल्प लिया था: “मैं किसी को भूखे पेट नहीं सोने दूँगा!”
आज बापू उन लोगों का पेट भरते हैं, जो देख नहीं सकते, बोल नहीं सकते, दिव्यांग हैं, शारीरिक रूप से असमर्थ हैं या बेसहारा हैं। उन्होंने सिर्फ़ 10 लोगों से इस सेवा की शुरुआत की थी, लेकिन आज 300 लोग बापू की गाड़ी का इंतज़ार करते हैं! जैसे ही बापू की गाड़ी पहुँचती है, उनके चेहरों पर मुस्कान आ जाती है।
